Our Story: From a Little Bird to a Little Nest

Little Nest Studio was born in 2025 from a love of two things: handcrafted design and family.

The name is a tribute to my daughter, Ava. In Latin, Ava means "bird," and as I began creating pieces to beautify the home, the concept of a "nest" felt perfect. A nest is a place of comfort, safety, and careful craftsmanship. Ava is my "little bird," and this studio is our shared creative space where we build something beautiful together.

What started with the stone-like elegance of Jesmonite is growing into a full creative home. While our trays and home accents are the heart of the nest, we are soon expanding into handcrafted polymer clay jewelry, bringing our modern, earthy aesthetic to pieces you can wear.

Creativity runs deep in this family! One of my favorite parts of this journey is Ava’s Nest—a special, limited-edition collection curated entirely by Ava herself. From choosing the vibrant pigment palettes for our Jesmonite pours to hand-threading her own unique bracelets, these pieces are a glimpse into the imagination of our littlest maker.
