FAQS

What is Jesmonite? Jesmonite is an eco-friendly, solvent-free composite material. It has a smooth, stone-like feel and is known for being durable and heat-resistant. Because it is hand-poured, no two pieces are ever identical.

Why are there small holes or "bubbles" on my piece? Small air bubbles are a natural characteristic of Jesmonite and the hand-pouring process. These are not flaws; they are "beauty spots" that highlight the artisanal nature of your handmade item.

Are your items food-safe? No. While Jesmonite is non-toxic, it is a porous material and has not been tested for food safety. Please use our vessels for decorative purposes only (jewelry, candles, wax melts, keys, etc.).

Can I put my tray in the dishwasher? No. To keep your piece looking its best, please avoid the dishwasher and microwave. Simply wipe it down with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if needed.

Are the vessels waterproof? Our pieces are sealed to be water-resistant, meaning they can handle a splash of water or a damp cloth. However, they are not fully waterproof. Do not submerge them in water or allow liquids to sit in them for long periods, as this may cause staining.

Do you offer custom colors? Yes! If you have a specific palette in mind that isn't listed, please send us a message through our Contact Page, and we’ll see if we can bring your vision to life.

Do you ship internationally? Not just yet! At the moment, we only ship within the UK. We are working hard to bring our hand-poured pieces to the rest of the world soon—stay tuned!
